We at Kopali use the power of sweet chocolate delight to advance positive change, towards a more just, compassionate and sustainable world for all.  We started Kopali from our off-the-grid organic permaculture farm and sustainability center in the rainforest of Costa Rica, to directly support sustainable family farmers and their communities around the world, by creating, marketing, and selling chocolates that are every bit as important as they are irresistibly delicious, certified organic and fair trade. The Opportunity:
We are seeking motivated, creative, proactive, passionate, responsible excellent communicators, to join us on our mission and play an important role on our small team, as we build a brand and share our company purpose and product differentiation with retailers and shoppers.  This is a critical moment for Kopali, and our focus is on expansion/sales and maximizing impact: how many retailers and shoppers and influencers and outlets can we reach, with your help?

Work directly both in the office and in the field, representing Kopali, selling into new retailer accounts and servicing existing ones, conducting shopper outreach and sampling, store leadership relations and merchandising, as well as general team and project assistance. Depending on interests / skills, internship may involve some projects in supply chain, advertising / marketing / public relations, product development, operations and more.  Candidates should have interest in lifestyles of health and wellness, food, business that advances positive social and environmental impact, CPG, and the functions of sales and marketing.  Must have a positive attitude and tremendous energy, and be ready for hands-on work, recognizing that a brand grows customer-by-customer, shelf-by-shelf, store-by-store, and eager for the opportunity to make that happen with Kopali.

Summer internship is FULL TIME (will accept select for 30 hours per week which can include weekends), scheduled in the office/field, with some hours conducted independently. The internship is unpaid, and we are happy to complete paperwork etc to ensure credit can be earned.
